Sessional Group Worker

Part-time 5 hours per week; £8.82 / hour

The role will be for an initial 12-month period, funding will be sought to continue the role.

We are seeking to recruit a Sessional Family Group Worker to assist the Family Group Workers to organise regular Family Group meetings to bring parents and their children together to increase their capacity as a family. Experience of working with children and families is essential, together with a good standard of education, SVQ 2 or equivalent.

Family Support Coordinator

Full-time 37 hours per week; £21,074 (SJC Scale Point 22)

Role will be full-time for 12-month period, funding will be sought to continue the role.

We are seeking to recruit a Family Support Coordinator to join our team of Family Support Coordinators with responsibility to supervise and support our team of volunteers.

The Family Support Coordinator will assist in all aspects of Home-Start’s work. Qualifications and experience of working with children and families is essential, together with a good standard of education, SVQ 3 or equivalent.

Interviews will take place on Friday 16th November

Both roles will require sensitivity and excellent communication skills. Use of your own car (expenses paid) is necessary. An enhanced disclosure check will be required. You should understand and be committed to the role of the voluntary sector and be able to work on your own initiative and in a challenging environment.
