I’m Stacey Boyle, Family Support Coordinator at Home-Start West Lothian. I recently started working for the organisation in January 2019. My role involves recruiting, training and supervising the volunteers. Part of my work involves carrying out initial home visits to discuss the support the family feel they require and match them up with an appropriate Home-Start volunteer. After completing my degree in Psychology and Sociology I worked for organisations in the voluntary sector including Barnardo’s and The Rock Trust where I was involved in supporting children, young people and families. Furthermore I have also worked in nursery settings. Home-Start supports early intervention work which I’m passionate about so it is great to work for an organisation that supports this.
