1. What do you enjoy most about volunteering at Home-Start West Lothian?

I love my volunteering as it it helping another family that may not be ass fortunate for a variety of reasons. The support I can give is really valuable to me and I hope the family and some great friendships and bonds can be made. That makes it more special knowing you are helping someone else.

2. What made you want to volunteer in the first place?

I decided to volunteer as I wanted to give something back. I also was looking for a career change in the future and volunteering seemed a perfect way of building up my skills by helping others.

3. What would you say to anyone that’s interested in volunteering?

Do it! You won’t look back it’s such a rewarding experience!
