Our latest addition to the Home-Start West Lothian is in the spotlight in the Meet the Team Feature.

I have just started my role at Home Start as a Family Support Coordinator. In this role, I will receive referrals for families who require support and I will match them to families after their needs and individual circumstances. I will also be involved in recruiting, training and supporting volunteers who are a vital part of the service. I know how important volunteers are to Home-Start so I’ll be focusing on making sure they have the best experience possible too.

Prior to starting this role, I worked for West Lothian Council as a Nursery Nurse for over 18 years. I have previously worked as a creche worker and as a youth worker, which gave me experience working with children and young people of all ages. 

I enjoy spending time with family and friends and enjoy long walks and watching television with my husband and 2 children.

I am really looking forward to supporting families in West Lothian and it’s clear that the team at Home Start are making a huge difference in the lives of the families they are working with.
