Please meet the latest member of the team Hayley Ellis.

Hello, I’m Hayley the new Family Support Coordinator with Home-Start West Lothian. I am looking forward to fulfilling the role and meeting with families and volunteers.

Before taking on this role, I was a childminder for over 8 years, working with children in my own home while spending time with my own two children too. Here, my passion for outdoor play and learning grew. Encouraging families and other childminders to get outdoors more often and embrace the Scottish weather was a highlight. Camp fires and loose parts play are my favourites.

When I am not outdoors spending time with my family, I enjoy baking cakes to share and I also like to do a bit of cake decorating but not quite at a professional level. I do like a good book whenever time allows me to get stuck into one.
